The GRADUATOR features a single 29mm motor, hi-performance design. It can achieve altitudes to over 1800 ft. using a G motor. Easy construction and prepping makes this kit an excellent choice for those moving up in Advanced Rocketry.

LOC Viper III

 

Viper III

 

The VIPER III is a sleek experimenter's model that uses a 3-24mm motor cluster. It can attain altitudes to over 1800 ft. using 3 E motors. This unique design has its fins attached into the valleys of the motor mount tube cluster that extends beyond the main airframe. It features a NEW state-of-the-art centering ring/motor mount tube assembly manufactured exclusively by LOC/PRECISION. This feature assures a precise motor mount assembly with construction ease. The Viper III also features a sturdy fin wedge attachment.

The VIPER IV is almost identical to the VIPER III in size and construction but is a step up in motor power. This model uses a 4-24mm motor cluster and when flown with four E motors, can achieve out-of-sight flights to over 2200 ft. Like the Viper three this screamer also features a sturdy fin wedge attachment.

Originally proposed by Max Baines, this stretch version of the Lil' Nuke features a 38mm motor mount. With a 38 - 29 mmt adapter, a flyer can enjoy motors which include F, G and H impulse. Fly it as a 38mm and see what this rocket can really do!

The VULCANITE H76 is a sleek, single 38mm motor payload carrying vehicle. It was designed especially for the VULCAN SYSTEMS H80 motor but flies great on any 29mm or 38mm motors ranging from F to H impulse. This model can attain altitudes in excess of over 3500 ft. on H motors. This kit is highly recommended for level 1 "H MOTOR" certification. 
Other features include pre-slotted airframe/fin construction, payload section, 28" heavy duty LOC Precision parachute.

LOC Hi-Tech H45

 

HI-Tech H45

 

The HI-TECH H45 is the smaller version of LOC's famous EZI-65. It has a single 38mm motor mount. This hot performer has been tracked to over 3500 ft. when flown with long-burn H class motors. Special feature include a pre-slotted airframe / fin construction, a payload section, and a 28" LOC Precision parachute.

History of the  Iris

The Iris sounding rocket was originally designed by the Naval Research Laboratory to take 45 kg payloads to altitudes of 320 km. It was transferred to NASA with other NRL sounding rockets. It required launch from a tower, with the seven clustered booster motors burning out and separating before the upper stage left the tower.

History of the Sandhawk


The Sandhawk motor was developed for Sandia primarily for use in multi-stage rockets launched in support of Atomic Energy Agency activities. It was however flown as a single-stage vehicle in initial tests of the motor and some subsequent scientific missions.

History of the  Black Brant X

Black Brant is a solid propellant rocket system in single and multistage configurations that can carry payloads of 70-850kg to altitudes from 150km to more than 1500km. It provides up to 20 minutes of useful time for micro-gravity experiments, auroral studies, deep space observations, and other extraterrestrial research. Since 1962, more than 800 Black Brants have been launched, with a vehicle success rate of 98%.
