History of the Sandhawk

The Sandhawk motor was developed for Sandia primarily for use in multi-stage rockets launched in support of Atomic Energy Agency activities. It was however flown as a single-stage vehicle in initial tests of the motor and some subsequent scientific missions.

Recommended motors for the model kit include: H, I and J impulse.

History of the  Black Brant X

Black Brant is a solid propellant rocket system in single and multistage configurations that can carry payloads of 70-850kg to altitudes from 150km to more than 1500km. It provides up to 20 minutes of useful time for micro-gravity experiments, auroral studies, deep space observations, and other extraterrestrial research. Since 1962, more than 800 Black Brants have been launched, with a vehicle success rate of 98%.

Recommended motors for the model kit are G and H impulse.

4 - 29SS

The 4-29SS continues LOC's tradition of fine rockets designed for clusters. This special rocket can be flown on two or four motors usuing combinations of D, E F and G motors. Put in a couple of G's and enjoy an H impulse powered flight.

Stovi

 The STOVI is Debbie's own innovative design for SINGLE and inexpensive 24mm, G42 powered flights approaching 1000 ft. This unique six finned model with six external "booster tanks" is designed around LOC's BT-3.00 and LOC's exclusive airframe reducer AR-3.00-2.14. Special features include a sturdy fin wedge attachment.- 28" parachute

Norad

The NORAD is LOC's first concept of a tactical surface-to-air missile. Designed around LOC's BT-3.00 airframe tubing , this kit features LOC's exclusive airframe reducer AR-3.00-2.14. A single 29mm motor can propel this four finned beauty to 1500 ft. altitudes. The Norad features pre slotted airframe / fin construction.

Norad Pro Maxx

The is another of LOC Precision's kits suggested by Max Baines. It also features their exclusive  BT-3.00 and LOC's airframe reducer, AR-3.00-2.14. With a 38mm motor mount, this rocket can be built to fligh on more motors than we could possibly list. With precision crafted parts and fins that attach to the motor mount tube, a heavy duty parachute, this has proven to be a very popular kit.

Recommended Motors:  G, H, I and J impulse.

Cyclotron

The Cyclotron is a member of LOC Precision's ISP Performance Series which represent a wide spectrum of power usage that is available in H to K class motors. Each kit comes complete with nylon elastic shock cord, plastic nose cone, heavy-duty nylon chute, thick-walled airframe tubing, precision machined plywood centering rings and tubular fins. The Cyclotron is based on the 3" airframe and is reduced to 2" with LOC Precision's exclusive airframe reducer.
