Binder Design uses high quality rolled tubing for each kit. It is thicker that other tubes of the same type. Kits come complete with 3/16" aircraft grade plywood fins and centering rings.
Binder Design also hand crafts their own premium parachutes using the highest quality materials. Each parachute feature 1.9 oz. Diamond-Weave hot air balloon rip-stop nylon that is rubber coated on one side for heat resistance and zero porosity. This is not the standard thin rip-stop that you can buy at the local fabric store. These parachutes also have thick braided (not twisted) canopy lines ensuring that only the highest quality parachutes are produced.
Coast Rocketry has worked with Binder Design to adapt certain rockets for the Canadian Market. The Excel Jr, and the Stealth Jr have both been specially upgraded from 29mm to 38mm to accommodate the Pro 38 motors. Just add an adapter and you can enjoy these kits on 29mm motors as well.
Coast Rocketry has also worked with Binder Design to offer a special kit exclusively through Coast Rocketry. The Kid Canuck! This is a variation of the beautiful California Kid but has a name change. The kit comes complete with rail buttons, tail cone retainer, tubular nylon shock cord, high quality binder design parachute and more!! When finished, the red decals when places over a white airframe offers a really Canadian look!! adapt
